DUI identified an opportunity to assist with the Money & Violence webseries, which we believed was a well-written show with extraordinary appeal and potential.
Brand Inventory & Analysis
Upon completing DUI’s analysis, we identified of a number of areas for improvement. Many of the issues regarding production quality and clearances needed to be addressed. The show also required assistance growing its audience and gaining popularity.
Strategy, Implementation and Execution
We produced an activation at Hot 97 Summer Jam. We secured a partnership with media crowd-funding specialists Seed’n Spark, and completed a successful crowd sourcing campaign (totaling $100,000). Finally, DUI secured deals with Lionsgate and popular streaming service Tidal, as well as several brand partnerships.
Money & Violence grew to over 50 million views. It did record numbers for original content on Tidal. We secured guest appearances from Ebro, Maino, Uncle Murda and TI. Got a three show deal with Revolt and a fully functioning production company was formed. It was awarded by the Tribeca Film Festival for New Online Works. We did activations at Hot 97 Summer Jam and got a commendation from the Brooklyn Borough President.
